To seize the opportunities derived from the sustainability challenge, executives should, basically, reformulate their prevailing points of view on strategy, technology, and markets. This will help identify new business opportunities. Those who address sustainable development as an opportunity will handle the process called “creative destruction” and establish the competences required to compete in this 21st Century.
